A 50th Anniversary Celebration of the ENTIRE album and MORE Stevie Wonder hits with a full expanded band and Very Special Guests TBA
In 1976, Stevie Wonder released Songs in the Key of Life, a double LP plus a four-song bonus EP, that debuted at number one on the charts becoming only the third album to achieve that feat and the first by an American artist. Featuring the hits “I Wish”, “Sir Duke”, “Isn’t She Lovely”, “As”, “Another Star”, and 12 other anthems, and joined by a large cast of musicians and guest artists as well as the Count Basie Gospel Choir headed by Gwen Moten, this theatrical live performance will showcase the 19th Grammy Award winning Album of The Year and Grammy Hall of Fame inductee, the best-selling and most critically acclaimed album of Wonder’s career, number 4 rankling on Rolling Stone’s “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”, and, after being inducted in 2005 into the National Recording Registry by the Library of Congress which deemed it “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant”, is widely regarded as one of the greatest albums in the history of popular music.
