Sally Baby’s Silver Dollars are breaking out in New Orleans and nationwide with their fresh take on retro New Orleans R&B dance hall music and Creole Jazz.

They were 2nd runners up in NPR’s prestigious 2024 Tiny Desk competition and their exciting sound has taken the group from playing tiny dives in New Orleans’ 9th Ward to profile bookings at the Jazz & Heritage Festival and French Quarter Festival at home, and coveted festivals nationwide like California’s High Sierra Music Festival and Upstate NY’s Finger Lakes GrassRoots Festival.

Founded by Singer-guitarist, composer, music historian, and New Orleans jazz tour guide Salvatore Geloso (Sally Baby), the ensemble has recently released their debut self-titled EP to glowing reviews.   Geloso’s songs are at the center of Sally Baby’s Silver Dollars’ music with Salvatore’s original compositions – taking center stage.
