Sensory-Friendly + Inclusive Programming
The School of Performing Arts is proud to offer sensory-friendly and inclusive programming that is customizable to meet the needs of our students. In addition to many of our group classes, private instruction and specialty classes, such as “In Motion Dance Class”, are designed to be inclusive and accessible. For more information, email Director of Education, Jessica O’Brien, at jobrien@thebasie.org.
An inclusive dance class that provides children with disabilities the opportunity to learn dance technique and choreography. In this unique program, students learn how to express themselves through music and movement in a way that celebrates their natural ways of moving. The class is taught by the Director of Education, Jessica O’Brien, who completed her training with the National Dance Institute and the DREAM Project.
