The Basie Center Turner Academy is proud to offer sensory-friendly and inclusive programming that is customizable to meet the needs of our students. An inclusive dance class that provides children with diverse needs the opportunity to learn dance technique and choreography. In this unique program, students learn how to express themselves through music and movement in a way that celebrates their natural ways of moving. The class is taught by the Director of Education, Jessica O’Brien, who completed her training with the National Dance Institute and the DREAM Project.
