One of the Count Basie Center Turner Academy’s proudest partnerships, the year-round Actors Playground program fosters a strong foundation of respect and encouragement and offers a challenging and diverse, conservatory-level curriculum. Taught by dedicated and extensively trained teachers, students are familiarized with the latest version of modern acting techniques, including ‘Second City ‘-style improvisation, advanced scene study, auditioning, and more. Actors Playground also offers opportunities to train with well-known actors and audition for top-level theatrical representation.
