RED BANK – The Count Basie Center for the Arts has announced its 2019-20 BROADWAY AT THE BASIE series, featuring an eclectic slate of touring productions live at the Center’s Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre.

Sponsored by World Subaru, this season’s BROADWAY AT THE BASIE brings some of the Great White Way’s most beloved titles to Red Bank, with tickets going on sale this Friday, June 28th at noon via theBASIE.org, phone charge at 732-842-9000 and the Basie Center box office, located onsite at 99 Monmouth Street, Red Bank: 

  • A Night with Janis Joplin, starring TONY nominee Mary Bridget-Davies (Sept. 18; on sale now)
  • A Bronx Tale: The Musical (January 14 / 15, 2020)
  • Rent: 20th Anniversary Tour (February 13 / 14, 2020)
  • Mummenschanz: you & me (February 20, 2020; on sale now)
  • Finding Neverland (March 4 / 5, 2020)
  • RAIN: The Broadway tribute to The Beatles, performing Abbey Road ( March 21, 2020 • 3 + 8PM)
  • Bandstand (June 3 / 4)

In years past, productions like Legally Blonde: The Musical, Once and Monty Python’s Spamalot have graced the Basie Center stage, plus concerts and appearances from Tony winners Leslie Odom, Jr., Patti LuPone, Betty Buckley, Wicked producer David Stone and others.
