Basie Center, Hackensack Meridian Health join forces for HeartHealthExpo with NBC Today Show expert Joy Bauer

(RED BANK – JAN. 24) The Count Basie Center for the Arts and Riverview Medical Center will present HearthealthExpo at the Basie’s Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre, 99 Monmouth Street in Red Bank, on Sunday, February 9 from 1-5pm.

Joy Bauer, the noted NBC Today Show expert, best-selling author and leading health authority, will headline the free community event, which will also feature screenings, educational opportunities and a showcase of Riverview Medical Center services.

Tickets for this event are free, but most be downloaded in advance at theBASIE.org. The first 1,000 people in attendance will receive a complimentary copy of Joy Bauer’s latest book, Yummy Yoga.

In addition to Bauer’s headline presentation, HeartHealthExpo will feature an onstage roundtable of Hackensack Meridian Health physicians and researchers, moderated by Alla Rabinovich, MBA, chief operating officer, Hackensack Meridian Health Center for Discovery and Innovation, and sponsored by the Women’s Heart Fund. An interactive “Teddy Bear Clinic” for children, a demo of breakthrough DiVinci robotic surgery technology, information on physical therapy and cardiac rehabilitation, and BMI screenings will also be available.
