ALL ACCESS ARTS

All-Access Arts at the Count Basie Center for the Arts
The Count Basie Center’s All-Access Arts initiative offers barrier-free arts education and engagement for students across our community. In response to growing demand for free, inclusive programming, we’re expanding access to performances, cultural events, and classes in music, theater, and dance—especially for under-resourced populations.

Rooted in cultural celebration and community collaboration, All-Access Arts includes programs like Calpulli Mexican Dance Company’s folkloric dance classes and ACTOS, a bilingual acting class that encourages students to perform in their preferred language.

Through partnerships with organizations like The Arc of Monmouth, our teaching artists lead music and movement classes for individuals in an effort to see themselves represented in the arts.

This vibrant, inclusive programming reflects the Basie Center’s commitment to accessibility, cultural intersectionality, and community enrichment.
