The Count Basie Conservatory of Music offers voice instruction for students of all ages, from elementary to advanced levels. Our lessons are designed to be developmentally appropriate and tailored to each student’s goals, experience, and vocal growth. 

Our esteemed voice faculty’s Instruction encompasses a diverse range of genres and specialties, including classical, musical theater, contemporary, and jazz. Our experienced voice faculty closely monitors each student’s vocal health to support sustainable technique, confident artistry, and consistent progress. Coaching sessions and smaller lesson packages are also available for students preparing for roles in musical theater or refining material for auditions.

For all private lesson inquiries, please contact us using the inquiry form here. We’ll match you with a voice teacher based on the student’s level and schedule. Then, we’ll send you a private link to book trial lessons. After receiving your needs and availability, please allow 3–5 business days for us to coordinate your trial lesson with their schedules.  Students who wish to continue past a trial pack may register for the whole school year, from September to June, for private lessons or for a Summer semester.
