Ongoing Updates: Show postponements, Basie Center response to the COVID-19 virus

To that end, the Count Basie Center for the Arts is working with artists to postpone a number of upcoming shows. Our hope is to announce new dates as quickly as possible, so that customers who were looking forward to these shows can plan accordingly.

We expect an influx of calls related to these changes. Please bear with us as we work to communicate with all affected customers:

Postponed:

A Chorus Line presented by Phoenix Productions, originally scheduled for Sept 25-27, 2020, have been rescheduled to September 24, 25 & 26, 2021. All tickets will be honored on their new, respective dates. Please click here for rescheduled dates and times.

A Tribute to the Great Music of Motown, originally scheduled for May 30th and rescheduled to March 27th, has been postponed to Sunday, April 25, 2021 at 3pm. All tickets will be honored.

ABBA Mania, originally scheduled on February 11th has been rescheduled to February 10, 2022 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored.

An Evening with Herb Alpert and Lani Hall, originally scheduled for May 22nd, has been postponed to Friday, July 30, 2021 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored.

Art Garfunkel, originally scheduled for April 19th and moved to November 19th, has been rescheduled to Sunday, July 11, 2021 at 7pm. All tickets will be honored on this new date.

BETH HART: War in my Mind, originally scheduled for May 10th and rescheduled to March 7th, has been postponed and rescheduled to February 27, 2022. All tickets will be honored.

Brian Fallon & The Howling Weather, originally scheduled for March 29th and April 2nd and rescheduled to Aug 6th and 7th, have been postponed. The Aug 6th performance has been moved to June 15, 2021 at 7:30pm. The Aug 7th performance has been moved to June 16, 2021 at 7:30pm. Tickets for each show will be honored on their new, respective date.

Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers, originally scheduled for June 16th, has been postponed to June 13, 2021 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored.

Celtic Thunder, originally scheduled for November 18th, has been rescheduled to November 30, 2021 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored.

Christopher Cross, originally scheduled for April 7th and moved to July 21st, has been rescheduled to March 9, 2021 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored on this new date.

Classic Albums Live performs Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of The Moon, originally scheduled for March 19th and rescheduled to Aug 15th, has been postponed to a date TBD. All tickets will be honored this new date.

Colin Jost, originally scheduled for April 23rd and rescheduled to Aug 22nd, has been postponed to a TBD. All tickets will be honored on this new date.

Colin Mochrie & Brad Sherwood: Scared Scriptless, originally scheduled for April 18th, has been postponed to Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 8:00pm. All tickets will be honored.

David Foster, originally April 21st and rescheduled to Oct 11th, has been postponed to October 10, 2021, 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored.

David Sedaris, originally scheduled for October 6th, has been postponed to Friday, October 8, 2021 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored.

Howie Mandel, , originally scheduled for June 26th and rescheduled to February 12th, has been postponed to Friday, December 3, 2021 at 8pm. All tickets will be honored.

Indigo Girls, originally scheduled for March 17th and moved to October 1st, has been rescheduled to April 19, 2021 at 8:00pm. All tickets will be honored.

Masters of Illusion, originally scheduled for February 26th and moved to February 18th, has been rescheduled to September 29, 2021 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored on the new date.

Menopause the Musical, originally scheduled for June 12th & 13th, have been postponed. The June 12th performance has been moved to May 13, 2021 at 7:30pm. The June 13th performance has been moved to May 14, 2021 at 7:30pm. Tickets for each show will be honored on their new, respective date.

Nate Bargatze, originally scheduled for March 12th and rescheduled to October 15th, has been postponed to Sunday, October 3, 2021. All tickets will be honored.

One Night of Queen, originally scheduled for August 21st and rescheduled to February 17th, has been postponed to August 17, 2021 at 8pm. All tickets will be honored.

Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, originally scheduled for August 4th, has been postponed to a date to be determined. All tickets will be honored on this new date.

RAIN – A Tribute To The Beatles, originally scheduled for Saturday, March 21, 2020 at 3:00pm and 8:00pm, has been postponed to two shows on February 21, 2021.  Tickets for the original 3:00pm show will be honored at 2:00pm. Tickets for the original 8:00pm show will be honored at 7:00pm.

Remember Jones presents Mad Dogs & Englishmen, originally on April 24th and rescheduled to Oct 29th, has been postponed to April 24, 2021 at 8pm. All tickets will be honored.

Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band, originally scheduled for June 7th, has been postponed to Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored.

Robin Trower, originally scheduled for October 22nd, has been postponed to October 6, 2021 at 8pm. All tickets will be honored.

The Beach Boys, originally scheduled for April 6th, has been postponed to March 31, 2021 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored.

The Capitol Steps, originally scheduled for October 8th, has been postponed to Sunday, October 24, 2021 at 4pm. All tickets will be honored

The Edwards Twins, originally scheduled for April 29th, has been postponed to April 21st, 2021 at 7:30pm.  All tickets will be honored.

Train, originally scheduled for June 19th, has been postponed to Friday, June 18, 2021 at 8pm. All tickets will be honored.

Vic DiBitetto, originally scheduled for April 3rd & 4th and rescheduled to March 5th & 6th, has been postponed. The April 3rd/March 5th performance has been moved to Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 7pm. The April 4th/March 6th performance has been moved to Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 8pm. Tickets for each show will be honored on their new, respective date.

Canceled:

A Bowie Celebration, originally scheduled on April 1st and rescheduled to September 19, 2021,  has been canceled. Refunds for all ticket holders can be obtained at the point of purchase.

Daughtry Acoustic Trio, originally scheduled for May 1st and rescheduled to March 12, 2021, has been canceled. Refunds for all ticket holders can be obtained at the point of purchase.

Judy Collins & Arlo Guthrie, originally scheduled for June 2nd and rescheduled to June 24, 2021, has been canceled. Refunds for all ticket holders can be obtained at the point of purchase.

Paddington Bear Gets in a Jam, originally scheduled for February 28, 2021, has been canceled. Refunds for all ticket holders can be obtained at the point of purchase.
