Ongoing Updates: Show postponements, Basie Center response to the COVID-19 virus

To that end, the Count Basie Center for the Arts is working with artists to postpone a number of upcoming shows. Our hope is to announce new dates as quickly as possible, so that customers who were looking forward to these shows can plan accordingly.

We expect an influx of calls related to these changes. Please bear with us as we work to communicate with all affected customers:

Postponed:

A Tribute to the Great Music of Motown, originally scheduled for May 30th and rescheduled to March 27th & April 25th, has been postponed to Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 7pm. All tickets will be honored.

ABBA Mania, originally scheduled on February 11th has been rescheduled to February 10, 2022 has been postponed a day earlier to February 9, 2022 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored.

Al Stewart, originally scheduled for September 12, 2021, has been postponed to April 26, 2022 at 7pm. All tickets will be honored.

An Evening with Herb Alpert and Lani Hall, originally scheduled for May 22, 2020 and rescheduled to July 30, 2021 has been postponed to Friday, July 29, 2022 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored.

Art Garfunkel, originally scheduled for April 19, 2020 and moved to November 19th, July 11th and Oct 13th, has been rescheduled to Fri, October 21, 2022 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored on this new date.

BETH HART: War in my Mind, originally scheduled for May 10th and rescheduled to March 7th, has been postponed and rescheduled to February 27, 2022. All tickets will be honored.

Celtic Thunder, originally scheduled for November 18, 202 and rescheduled to November 30, 2021, has been postponed to March 8, 2022 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored.

Classic Albums Live performs Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of The Moon, originally scheduled for March 19th and rescheduled to Aug 15th, has been postponed to a date TBD. All tickets will be honored this new date.

Colin Jost, originally scheduled for April 23rd and rescheduled to Aug 22nd, has been postponed to a TBD. All tickets will be honored on this new date.

Colin Mochrie & Brad Sherwood: Scared Scriptless, originally scheduled on April 18th and rescheduled to April 17, 2021, has been postponed to Friday, December 17, 2021. All tickets will be honored.

David Foster, originally April 21st and rescheduled to Oct 11th, has been postponed to October 8, 2021, 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored.

David Sedaris, originally scheduled for October 6th, has been postponed to Friday, October 8, 2021 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored.

DION, originally scheduled for July 31st and rescheduled to July 22, 2021 has been postponed to July 14, 2022 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored.

Disney Princess – The Concert, originally scheduled for November 20, 2021 has been postponed to Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 2pm & 7pm. The 2pm performance has been moved to Sat, November 26, 2022 at 2pm. The 7:30pm performance has been moved to Sat, November 26, 2022 at 7pm. All tickets will be honored on their new, respective date and time.

Doo Wop at the Basie, originally scheduled for June 5th, has been postponed to Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 7pm. All tickets will be honored.

Elf the Musical presented by Phoenix Productions, originally scheduled for November 13-15, 2020, have been rescheduled to November 12, 13 & 14, 2021. All tickets will be honored on their new, respective dates. Please click here for rescheduled dates and times.

Happy Together Tour, originally scheduled for June 25, 2020 and postponed to June 25, 2021, has been rescheduled to Friday, June 24, 2022. All tickets will be honored.

Holiday Express Benefit Concert, originally scheduled for December 20th, has been moved to December 22, 2021 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored.

Hot Tuna, originally scheduled for July 9th and rescheduled to July 8th, has been postponed to December 5, 2021 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored.

Howie Mandel, , originally scheduled for June 26th and rescheduled to February 12th, has been postponed to Friday, December 3, 2021 at 8pm. All tickets will be honored.

Jay Leno, originally scheduled for October 17, 2020 and rescheduled to October 22, 2021, has been postponed to Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored.

Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, originally scheduled for April 26th and rescheduled to Sept 10th, April 22nd & Oct 30th, has been postponed to Friday, April 15, 2022 at 8:00pm. All tickets will be honored.

LETTERKENNY – Live, originally scheduled for March 22, 2020, has been postponed to February 22, 2022 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored on this new date.

Masters of Illusion, originally scheduled for February 26th and moved to February 18th & Sept 29th, has been rescheduled to October 13, 2022 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored on the new date.

Menopause the Musical, originally scheduled for  June 12 & 13, 2020 and rescheduled May 13 & 14, 2021 have been postponed to April 9, 2022 at 4pm & 7:30pm. The May 13th performance has been moved to Saturday, April 10, 2022 at 4pm. The May 14th performance has been moved to Saturday, April 10, 2022 at 7:30pm. Tickets for each show will be honored on their new, respective date.

Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, originally scheduled for August 4th, has been postponed to October 5, 2021 at 8pm. All tickets will be honored.

Paul Anka, originally scheduled for May 13th and rescheduled to Sept 19th & June 7th, has been postponed to November 19, 2021 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored.

Paula Poundstone, originally scheduled for October 9th January 28th and moved to August 26, 2021, has been rescheduled to March 3, 2022 at 8pm. All tickets will be honored on this new date.

Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band, originally scheduled for June 7th and rescheduled to June 12th, has been postponed to Friday, June 10, 2022 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored.

Robin Trower, originally scheduled for October 22, 2020 and rescheduled to October 6, 2021, has been postponed to May 3, 2022 at 8pm. All tickets will be honored.

Sergio Mendes, originally scheduled for April 16th and moved to November 5th has been postponed to a date TBD. All tickets will be honored on this new date.

Summer of Love, originally scheduled for March 20th and moved to July 25th & Mar 26th, has been rescheduled to Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored.

The Beach Boys, originally scheduled for April 6th and moved to March 31st, has been postponed to April 5, 2022 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored.

The Wedding Singer presented by Phoenix Productions, originally scheduled for July 17, 18 & 19, 2020 & rescheduled July 16, 17 & 18, 2021, have been postponed to February 11, 12 & 13, 2022. The Wizard of Oz presented by Phoenix Productions, originally scheduled for May 8, 9, 16 & 17, 2020 and rescheduled April 30, May 1 & 2, 2021, have been postponed to April 29, 30 & May 1, 2022. Train, originally scheduled for June 19th and rescheduled to June 18, 2021, has been postponed to Saturday, October 16, 2021. All tickets will be honored.

Tusk: The Number One Tribute to Fleetwood Mac, originally scheduled for February 20th, and rescheduled to February 26, 2022, has been postponed to Friday, March 11, 2022 at 8pm. All tickets will be honored.

Vic DiBitetto, originally scheduled for April 3rd & 4th and rescheduled to March 5th & 6th, has been postponed. The April 3rd/March 5th performance has been moved to Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 7pm. The April 4th/March 6th performance has been moved to Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 8pm. Tickets for each show will be honored on their new, respective date.

Canceled:

Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo Live on November 8, 2021 has been canceled. Refunds for all ticket holders have been made.

Mary Chapin Carpenter, Marc Cohn, Shawn Colvin: Together In Concert show on October 14, 2021 has been canceled. Refunds for all ticket holders can be obtained at the point of purchase.

Piff the Magic Dragon, originally scheduled for April 25th and rescheduled to January 29th and October 25, 2021, has been canceled. Refunds for all ticket holders can be obtained at the point of purchase.

The Capitol Steps, originally scheduled for October 8th and rescheduled d to October 24, 2021, has been canceled. Refunds for all ticket holders can be obtained at the point of purchase.
