Ongoing Updates: Show postponements, Basie Center response to the COVID-19 virus

To that end, the Count Basie Center for the Arts is working with artists to postpone a number of upcoming shows. Our hope is to announce new dates as quickly as possible, so that customers who were looking forward to these shows can plan accordingly.

We expect an influx of calls related to these changes. Please bear with us as we work to communicate with all affected customers:

Nate Bargatze, originally scheduled for March 12th, has been postponed to October 15, 2020 at 7pm. All tickets will be honored.

Runnin’ Down A Dream – A Tribute To Tom Petty starring Bobby Bandiera, originally scheduled for March 13th and moved to May 29th, has been rescheduled to Friday, October 30, 2020 at 8pm. All tickets will be honored.

Straight Up With Stassi, originally scheduled for March 16th and rescheduled to January 9th, has been canceled. Refunds for all ticket holders can be obtained at the point of purchase.

Indigo Girls, originally scheduled for March 17th and moved to October 1st, has been rescheduled to April 19, 2021 at 8:00pm. All tickets will be honored.

Classic Albums Live performs Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of The Moon, originally scheduled for March 19th and rescheduled to Aug 15th, has been postponed to a date TBD. All tickets will be honored this new date.

The Summer Of Love Concert, originally scheduled for March 20th and moved to July 25th, has been rescheduled to Friday, March 26, 2021 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored.

RAIN – A Tribute To The Beatles, originally scheduled for Saturday, March 21, 2020 at 3:00pm and 8:00pm, has been postponed to two shows on February 21, 2021.  Tickets for the original 3:00pm show will be honored at 2:00pm. Tickets for the original 8:00pm show will be honored at 7:00pm.

LETTERKENNY – Live, originally scheduled for March 22nd, will be postponed to a date to be determined. All tickets will be honored on this new date.

StarTalk Live with Neil deGrasse Tyson, originally scheduled for March 25th and moved to July 30th, has been canceled. Refunds for all ticket holders can be obtained at the point of purchase.

Mandy Moore, originally scheduled for March 27th, has been postponed to a date to be determined. All tickets will be honored on this new date.

Beethoven’s ‘EROICA’ Symphony, to be presented by the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, March 28th, has been canceled. If you bought tickets from the Basie Center you will receive an automatic refund. Patrons who purchased tickets directly from the NJSO should click here for info.

Brian Fallon & The Howling Weather, originally scheduled for March 29th and April 2nd and rescheduled to Aug 6th and 7th, have been postponed. The Aug 6th performance has been moved to June 15, 2021 at 7:30pm. The Aug 7th performance has been moved to June 16, 2021 at 7:30pm. Tickets for each show will be honored on their new, respective date.

A Bowie Celebration, originally scheduled on April 1st and moved to Sept 16th, has been rescheduled to September 19, 2021 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored.

Vic DiBitetto, originally scheduled for April 3rd & 4th, has been postponed. The April 3rd performance has been moved to Friday, March 5th, 2021 at 8pm. The April 4th performance has been moved to Saturday, March 6th, 2021 at 8pm. Tickets for each show will be honored on their new, respective date.

The Beach Boys, originally scheduled for April 6th, has been postponed to March 31, 2021 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored.

Christopher Cross, originally scheduled for April 7th and moved to July 21st, has been rescheduled to March 9, 2021 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored on this new date.

Pilobolus, originally scheduled for April 14th, has been postponed to October 17th, 2021 at 7:00pm. All tickets will be honored.

Sergio Mendes, originally scheduled for April 16th,  has been postponed to November 5th, 2020 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored.

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens – In Concert,” to be presented by the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra on Friday, April 17th, has been canceled. If you bought tickets from the Basie Center you will receive an automatic refund. Patrons who purchased tickets directly from the NJSO should click here for info.  The NJSO plans to bring this performance back to Red Bank for its 2020-21 season and the new date will be on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 8pm.

Colin Mochrie & Brad Sherwood: Scared Scriptless, originally scheduled for April 18th, has been postponed to Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 8:00pm. All tickets will be honored.

Art Garfunkel, originally scheduled for April 19th, has been postponed to November 19, 2020 at 8pm. All tickets will be honored.

David Foster, originally April 21st and rescheduled to Oct 11th, has been postponed to October 10, 2021, 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored.

Scooby-Doo! and The Lost City of Gold, originally scheduled for April 22nd, has been canceled. Refunds for all ticket holders can be obtained at the point of purchase.

Colin Jost, originally scheduled for April 23rd, has been postponed to Saturday, August 22nd, 2020 at 8:00pm. All tickets will be honored.

Mad Dogs & Englishmen presented by Remember Jones, originally on April 24th and rescheduled Oct 29th, has been postponed to April 24, 2021 at 8pm. All tickets will be honored on this new date.

Piff the Magic Dragon, originally scheduled for April 25th, has been postponed to Friday, January 29, 2021 at 8pm. All tickets will be honored.

Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, originally scheduled for April 26th, has been postponed to September 10th, 2020 at 8:00pm. All tickets will be honored.

The Everything Beautiful Tour with Jenna Bush Hager, originally scheduled for April 28th, has been postponed to September 14th, 2020 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored.

Menopause the Musical, originally scheduled for June 12th & 13th, have been postponed. The June 12th performance has been moved to May 13, 2021 at 7:30pm. The June 13th performance has been moved to May 14, 2021 at 7:30pm. Tickets for each show will be honored on their new, respective date.
