Ongoing Updates: Show postponements, Basie Center response to the COVID-19 virus

 

COVID-19 FacebookThe health and well-being of patrons, artists, and staff is our top priority. To that end, the Count Basie Center for the Arts is working with artists to postpone a number of upcoming shows. Our hope is to announce new dates as quickly as possible, so that customers who were looking forward to these shows can plan accordingly.

We expect an influx of calls related to these changes. Please bear with us as we work to communicate with all affected customers:

Nate Bargatze‘s performance, originally set for March 12th, is now set for June 28th. All tickets will be honored.

Runnin’ Down A Dream – A Tribute To Tom Petty starring Bobby Bandiera, originally scheduled for Friday, March 13th, has been moved to Friday, May 29th, 2020. All tickets will be honored.

RAIN – A Tribute To The Beatles, originally scheduled for Saturday, March 21, 2020 at 3:00PM and 8:00PM, has been rescheduled to two shows on February 21, 2021.  Tickets for the original 3:00PM show will be honored at a 2:00PM presentation. Tickets for the original 8:00PM show will be honored at 7:00PM.

Straight Up With Stassi Live, originally scheduled for March 16th, has been moved to Saturday, January 9th, 2021 at 8pm. All tickets will be honored.

The Indigo Girls, originally scheduled for this Tuesday, March 17th, has been moved to to October 1st, 2020 at 8:00pm. All tickets will be honored on October 1st.

Classic Albums Live performs Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of The Moon, originally scheduled for March 19th, has been moved to Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 8pm. All tickets will be honored.

The Summer Of Love Tour, originally scheduled for Friday, March 20th, has been moved to Saturday, July 25th, 2020 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored.

RAIN – A Tribute to the Beatles, originally scheduled for two shows on Saturday, March 21st, will be postponed to a date to be determined. All tickets will be honored on the new date.

LETTERKENNY – Live, originally scheduled for March 22nd, will be postponed to a date to be determined. All tickets will be honored on the new date.

StarTalk Live with Neil deGrasse Tyson, originally scheduled for March 25th, has been moved to July 30th, 2020 at 8pm. All tickets will be honored on July 30th.

Mandy Moore, originally scheduled for March 27th, will be postponed to a date to be determined. All tickets will be honored on the new date.

Beethoven’s ‘EROICA’ Symphony, to be presented by the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, March 28th, has been canceled. If you bought tickets from the Basie Center you will receive an automatic refund. Patrons who purchased tickets directly from the NJSO should click here for info.

Brian Fallon & The Howling Weather, originally scheduled for March 29th and April 2nd, have been postponed. The March 29th performance has been moved to August 6th at 7:30pm. The April 2nd performance has been moved to August 7th at 7:30pm. Tickets for each show will be honored on their new, respective date.

A Bowie Celebration, originally scheduled on April 1st has been rescheduled to September 16, 2020 at 8pm. All tickets will be honored on September 16th.

Vic DiBitetto originally scheduled for April 3rd & 4th has been rescheduled. The April 3rd performance has been moved to Friday, March 5th, 2021 at 8pm. The April 4th performance has been moved to Saturday, March 6th, 2021 at 8pm. Tickets for each show will be honored on their new, respective date.

The Beach Boys performance, originally scheduled for April 6th, has been rescheduled to March 31, 2021 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored on March 31st.

Christopher Cross, originally scheduled for April 7th, has been rescheduled to July 21st, 2020 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored on July 21st.

Pilobolus, originally scheduled for April 14th, has been rescheduled to October 17th, 2021 at 7:00pm. All tickets will be honored on October 17, 2021.

Sergio Mendes, originally scheduled for April 16th,  has been rescheduled to November 5th, 2020 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored on November 5th.

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens – In Concert,” to be presented by the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra on Friday, April 17th, has been canceled. If you bought tickets from the Basie Center you will receive an automatic refund. Patrons who purchased tickets directly from the NJSO should click here for info.  The NJSO plans to bring this performance back to Red Bank for its 2020-21 season.

David Foster, originally scheduled for April 21st, has been rescheduled to October 11th, 2020 at 8:00pm. All tickets will be honored on October 11th.

Colin Jost, originally scheduled for April 23rd, has been rescheduled to Saturday, August 22nd, 2020 at 8:00pm. All tickets will be honored on Saturday, August 22nd.

Mad Dogs & Englishmen presented by Remember Jones, originally scheduled for April 24th, has been rescheduled to October 29, 2020 at 8pm. All tickets will be honored on October 29th.

Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, originally scheduled for April 26th, has been rescheduled to September 10th, 2020 at 8:00pm. All tickets will be honored on September 10th.

The Everything Beautiful Tour with Jenna Bush Hager, originally scheduled for April 28th, has been rescheduled to September 14th, 2020 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored on September 14th.

The Edwards Twins, originally scheduled for April 29th, has been rescheduled to April 21st, 2021 at 7:30pm.  All tickets will be honored on April 21st, 2021.

Daughtry Acoustic Trio, originally scheduled for May 1st, has been rescheduled to Friday, March 12th, 2021 at 8:00pm. All tickets will be honored on Friday, March 12th.

The Basie Presents Jersey Shore Doo Wop Extravaganza featuring Kenny Vance & The Planotones, originally scheduled for May 2nd in Toms River, NJ, has been rescheduled to August 16, 2020 at 2:00pm in Toms River, NJ. All tickets will be honored on August 16th.

Paul Anka, originally scheduled for May 13th, has been rescheduled to September 19th, 2020 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored on September 19th.

City and Colour, originally scheduled for May 15th, has been rescheduled to October 5th, 2020 at 8:00pm. All tickets will be honored on October 5th.

NJ101.5’s Dennis & Judi Unplugged, originally scheduled for May 2nd, has been postponed to October 18th, 2020 at 6pm. All tickets will be honored October 18th.

Mariachi Herencia de Mexico on May 3rd has been canceled. Refunds for all ticket holders can be obtained at the point of purchase.

A Tribute to the Great Music of Motown, originally scheduled for May 30th, has been rescheduled to Saturday, March 27th, 2021 at 7:00pm. All tickets will be honored on March 27th, 2021.

Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band, originally scheduled for June 7th, has been rescheduled to Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 7:30pm. All tickets will be honored on Saturday, June 12th.
