In a career that spans over two decades, Jillian Rhys McCoy has proven over and over again to be a force to be reckoned with. McCoy, who has performed alongside Bob Bandiera, Steven Van Zandt, Joan Jett, Tommy James, Billy Jo Armstrong (Green Day), Darlene Love, Cheap Trick, Ben E King and more, has also been a member of Jon Bon Jovi’s Kings of Suburbia project, stacking her resume with not just bits of rock and roll history, but the rhythmic undertones that have lifted the genre from day one.
On this evening, McCoy and a group of talented musicians come together to salute the icons of alternative rock in the 1990s, from grunge heroes like Nirvana and Pearl Jam to No Doubt, Sublime, Alanis Morrissette, Stone Temple Pilots and The Offspring.
Joining McCoy on bass Ron Haney (Alicia Keys, The Churchills, Bobby Bandiera), Michael Vanderweerd on lead and backing vocals and guitar (Skinny Amigo), on drums Ilya Stemkovsky (Eddie Testa Band), Reagan Richards on lead and backing vocals (Williams Honor) and more to be announced with special guests.
