The Count Basie Center Academy of the Arts and affiliated programs are conducting a food drive to benefit Fulfill‘s efforts in tackling food insecurity in Monmouth and Ocean counties.

We’re currently collecting non-perishable items, especially:

– Canned tuna, chicken & salmon
– Canned veggies
– Cooking oils
– Shelf-stable milk
– Pancake mix and syrup
– Peanut butter & jelly
– Canned fruits
– Fruit juice
– Soups (chicken noodle, chicken and rice, beef vegetable, minestrone, split pea, lentil)
– Hot cereals (oatmeal, steel-cut oats, farina, muesli)
– Ready-to-eat canned meats (chili, chicken w/ rice and vegetables, stew, spaghetti and meatballs, ravioli)
– Cold cereals (Toasted O’s, bran flakes, corn flakes, wheat brown rice, Grape-Nuts, Special K, Fiber One cereals, Cascadian Farms & Kashi Cereals)
– Low sodium canned vegetables (Green beans, corn, mixed veggies, yams)
– Cranberry Sauce
– Boxed stuffing
– Gravy
– Canned soup and broth
– Spices (cinnamon, allspice, ginger, cardamom, cloves, vanilla extract)
– Baking items (Sugar, Flour, Baking Soda, Baking Powder, Salt, Chocolate Chips)
– Baking mixes (Pie crust, cornbread, cookies, pumpkin bread)
