\"\"BANCO ROJO \u2013 <\/strong>El Count Basie Center for the Arts<\/strong> ha anunciado fechas de audiciones para el campamento de \u00f3pera de verano del Basie Center de este a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n

La presentaci\u00f3n de este a\u00f1o es Entonces me levant\u00e9<\/em><\/strong>, una \u00f3pera juvenil en un acto escrita por el dramaturgo de la \u00d3pera de Los \u00c1ngeles Leslie Stevens<\/strong>, que honra las contribuciones de los j\u00f3venes al movimiento de derechos civiles. La m\u00fasica de la \u00f3pera fue escrita por el instructor del Campamento de \u00d3pera de Verano de Basie, Eli Villanueva, director de escena residente del aclamado departamento de Programas Comunitarios y de Educaci\u00f3n de la \u00d3pera de Los \u00c1ngeles. Este es el tercer a\u00f1o de Villanueva al frente del renombrado programa Basie Center.<\/p>\n

Las audiciones se realizar\u00e1n el s\u00e1bado 11 de mayo.el<\/sup> entre las 10 a. m. y las 4 p. m. en el Centro para las Artes Count Basie, ubicado en 99 Monmouth Street en Red Bank. Los estudiantes deben llamar al 732-224-8778 x 125 para reservar un lugar para la audici\u00f3n y deben preparar una canci\u00f3n que sea de estilo oper\u00edstico o gospel, o que tenga sus ra\u00edces en la \u00e9poca dorada del teatro musical.<\/p>\n

Los estudiantes de entre 9 y 17 a\u00f1os son elegibles para la audici\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

El campamento se lleva a cabo de lunes a viernes del 5 al 16 de agosto de 9:30 am a 4:00 pm. Una actuaci\u00f3n final tendr\u00e1 lugar el s\u00e1bado 17 de agosto.el<\/sup> en el Centro de Artes Jay y Linda Grunin de Ocean County College.<\/p>\n
