\"Los(RED BANK | 19 DE MAYO DE 2026) <\/strong>Esta noche se anunciaron los ganadores de la 21.\u00aa edici\u00f3n de los Premios Basie, que reconocen a los mejores exponentes del teatro de las escuelas secundarias del condado de Monmouth. La ceremonia de este a\u00f1o tuvo lugar en el hist\u00f3rico Count Basie Center for the Arts, atrayendo a un p\u00fablico multitudinario a la que se ha convertido en la noche m\u00e1s importante del a\u00f1o para los j\u00f3venes actores de las escuelas secundarias de la zona.<\/p>\n

\u201cUna vez m\u00e1s, los premios Basie han puesto de manifiesto una de las comunidades de teatro de secundaria m\u00e1s vibrantes del estado\u201d, dijo Samantha Giustiniani, Vicepresidenta de Educaci\u00f3n y Difusi\u00f3n, Centro de Artes Count Basie. <\/strong>\u201cLas producciones que evaluaron nuestros jueces fueron excepcionales, y el p\u00fablico de esta noche, que llen\u00f3 por completo la sala y estaba compuesto por estudiantes, amigos, familiares, profesores y administradores, pudo disfrutar de lo mejor que la comunidad teatral de nuestra regi\u00f3n tiene para ofrecer.\u201d<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s de celebrar el talento local, los 'Basies' entregaron su Premio a la Trayectoria a Senador Vin Gopal<\/strong>, quien fue homenajeado por su firme apoyo a las artes esc\u00e9nicas y al propio Count Basie Center.<\/p>\n

\u201cEl senador Gopal es un l\u00edder que cree en el poder de la educaci\u00f3n art\u00edstica y en la importancia de invertir en los j\u00f3venes, la creatividad y la comunidad\u201d, dijo. Adam Philipson, presidente y director ejecutivo, Centro para las Artes Count Basie<\/strong>. \u201cLas artes son una parte importante de nuestras vidas y un elemento vital para una comunidad sana.
