(9 DE DICIEMBRE DE 2015 \u2013 BANCO ROJO) <\/strong>Aprovechando la creencia de que una comunidad fuerte se forja mediante asociaciones s\u00f3lidas, la Teatro Count Basie<\/strong> la pr\u00f3xima semana concluir\u00e1 su anunciado \u201cArtes para todos<\/strong>\u201cproyecto con Escuela secundaria de Red Bank<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cArts For All\u201d es un programa innovador de 12 semanas que brinda diversas formas de instrucci\u00f3n art\u00edstica para todos los niveles de grado en la escuela intermedia. Se fomentan los est\u00e1ndares de las artes visuales y esc\u00e9nicas; Los estudiantes de cuarto grado est\u00e1n aprendiendo danza cultural, mientras que los de quinto grado est\u00e1n tomando clases de baile hip hop. Los estudiantes de sexto grado est\u00e1n tomando clases de teatro y los de s\u00e9ptimo grado est\u00e1n aprendiendo percusi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

En octavo grado, los estudiantes participan en un proyecto de alfabetizaci\u00f3n art\u00edstica de Ruanda en el que crean un cap\u00edtulo e ilustraciones para un libro que se utilizar\u00e1 para ense\u00f1ar ingl\u00e9s como segundo idioma a los estudiantes de las escuelas Kampanga y Bisate de ese pa\u00eds. Los dibujos de los alumnos de octavo grado se imprimir\u00e1n en azulejos que se incorporar\u00e1n a la decoraci\u00f3n de una de las escuelas de Ruanda y se incorporar\u00e1n en un libro que se publicar\u00e1 para los estudiantes ruandeses interesados en aprender ingl\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Stacy Sherwood, supervisora de curr\u00edculo y programas de instrucci\u00f3n para ELL, biling\u00fces y de idiomas extranjeros de la escuela, dice que \u201cArts For All\u201d es un \u00e9xito.<\/p>\n
