Dos violinistas, un flautista y un pianista. Es una orquesta en ciernes, pero para cuatro estudiantes talentosos matriculados en la Contar<\/strong> Conservatorio de la Academia Basie Center<\/strong>, es el comienzo de una vida enriquecida con sonido.<\/p>\n
Estudiantes rafael estrada<\/strong> y ian kenny<\/strong> (viol\u00edn), Oliver Schrenk<\/strong> (piano) y diego ruiz<\/strong> (flauta) fueron celebrados esta semana como los ganadores inaugurales del Basie Center Beca de interpretaci\u00f3n musical Pat DiNizio<\/strong>.<\/p>\nGanadores inaugurales de la beca de interpretaci\u00f3n musical Pat DiNizio con los fundadores de Smithereens, Jim Babjak y Dennis Diken<\/i><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
Nombrado en honor al fallecido vocalista del Sal\u00f3n de la Fama de Nueva Jersey Los a\u00f1icos<\/strong>, el programa naci\u00f3 despu\u00e9s de que se transmitiera a todo el mundo un homenaje a DiNizio desde el escenario del Basie Center. Las ganancias de ese evento, as\u00ed como las contribuciones continuas de los donantes, crearon y contin\u00faan financiando la beca.<\/p>\n
guitarrista de a\u00f1icos Jim Babjak<\/strong> y baterista Dennis Diken<\/strong> se reuni\u00f3 con los j\u00f3venes acad\u00e9micos en el nuevo campus del Conservatorio de Basie, les cont\u00f3 historias de sus vidas como m\u00fasicos profesionales e inst\u00f3 a los estudiantes a actuar juntos y explorar una diversidad de estilos. \u201cTodo el mundo deber\u00eda estar contento con lo que hace\u201d, continu\u00f3 Schrenk, \u201cy el Conservatorio de Monmouth realmente te ayuda a pensar en eso. Estoy muy agradecido por esta beca y experiencia\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cPat DiNizio<\/strong> Estar\u00eda muy orgulloso y honrado de saber que su nombre est\u00e1 asociado a un programa que ense\u00f1a a los j\u00f3venes a tocar m\u00fasica\u201d, dijo Diken. \u201cTodos empezamos a tocar cuando \u00e9ramos muy peque\u00f1os: cog\u00ed Lincoln Logs y convert\u00ed latas de caf\u00e9 en tambores cuando era ni\u00f1o, y recuerdo a Pat hablando de tocar la guitarra en primer grado\u201d.<\/p>\n
