On Monday, January 20, 2025 – Pilgrim Baptist Church of Red Bank in conjunction with Count Basie Center for the Arts and the New Jersey Martin Luther King Commission, will sponsor the annual:  Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Commemorative Celebration.  The celebration will take place at The Vogel (Count Basie Center for the Arts).  Judge Susan Wigenton will be the celebration speaker and the morning will feature musical presentations by the; PBC Women of Worship and the Red Bank Regional High School Choir.  There will also be a special presentation by the Long Branch High School Civic Leadership Corps and the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Department.  Refreshments will be served prior to the start of the celebration and attendees are encouraged to visit the exhibits/displays of available resources in the county of Monmouth.  Free admittance (limited seating).  A special free will offering will be taken to support the Hope & Comfort Center of Red Bank.  The Center provides a place of comfort and warmth to men/women during Code Blue Alerts when temperatures are below freezing.  For further information, or if you are interested in setting up an exhibit/display (tabling), please call: Pastor Terrence Porter at 732-747-2343.
