Count Basie Center Arts Impact scholarship program celebrates 2025 recipients

 

Impacto artístico(RED BANK – MAY 29) This year’s winners of the annual Count Basie Center Arts Impact scholarship program gathered onsite in Red Bank this week, to both receive their scholarship certificates and also meet some of the generous donors behind the Arts Impact college scholarship program.

Seventeen Basie Center Arts Impact college scholarships – first announced at last week’s annual Basie Awards – were awarded this year:

  • Jones Almeida (Holmdel): Recipient of Count Basie Center Arts Impact Scholarship – Gifted by Michael Parent
  • Kyra Bechtoldt (Holmdel): Recipient of Riker Family Arts Impact Scholarship
  • Zachary Berg (Oakhurst): Recipient of Yvonne Scudiery Arts Impact Scholarship
  • Zackary Closius (Neptune): Amy Günther Fredericks Arts Impact Scholarship
  • Emily Curran (Middletown) : Recipient of Count Basie Center Arts Impact Scholarship – Gifted by Nicole & Joe Wajda
  • Valerie Khalil (Holmdel): Recipient of Turner Arts Impact Scholarship
  • Nadia Kim (Morganville): Recipient of Count Basie Center Arts Impact Scholarship – Gifted by the 2023 Basie Golf Outing
  • (Joseph) Ryder Lorusso (Wall Township): Recipient of Count Basie Center Arts Impact Scholarship – Gifted by the Brandon Tyler Narleski Foundation
  • Kaeleigh MacLennan (Neptune): Recipient of Count Basie Center Arts Impact Scholarship – Gifted by the 2024 Basie Golf Outing
  • Anastasia Martinez (Keyport): Recipient of Count Basie Center Arts Impact Scholarship – Gifted by the 2022 Basie Golf Outing
  • Shea Preston (Marlboro) : Recipient of Count Basie Center Arts Impact Scholarship in Memory of Nella Pugliese
  • Olivia Ouattara (New Milford): Recipient of Robert C. Garrett Hackensack Meridian Health Arts Impact Scholarship
  • Logan Rettino (Rumson): Recipient of Count Basie Arts Impact Scholarship – Gifted by Maureen & Robert Barbieri
  • Isabel Santamaria (Spring Lake Heights): Recipient of Count Basie Center Arts Impact Scholarship – Gifted by Robin & John Klein
  • Maggie Surguy (Morganville): Recipient of Comisionados del condado de Monmouth Basie Scholarship for Continuing Education
  • Phineaus Whedon (Wall Township): Recipient of Moser Taboada Arts Impact Scholarship
  • Margaret White (Ocean Township): Recipient of Yvonne Scudiery Arts Impact Scholarship
