Lisa L Silver is a mother of 2 daughters, a seasoned animation feature film editor, and a lover of all things animated. She has been working in film editing for 35 years starting out on live action features as an assistant editor, and the last 27 have all been in animation having worked her way up from an assistant editor, to an associate editor and for the last 22 years as a lead editor. She’s honed her storytelling and story development skills while editing shorts and feature films during her 15 years at Walt Disney Animation (Emperor’s New Groove, Mulan 2, Cinderella 3, Winnie the Pooh, various Tinkerbell projects and the Academy Award winning Paperman). She has also edited films for Netflix, Dreamworks, Hasbro, Apple TV+ and Nickelodeon. Most recently she was the Supervising Editor for the upcoming SpongeBob Squarepants musical feature film, Plankton, The Movie and before that she edited some Peanuts specials for Apple TV+ (a total childhood dream job). Her love of animation and telling stories that can resonate with children throughout their lives is not only a dream, but a passion.
