Join us for our week-long AWARD WINNING summer intensive Jazz studies session for aspiring teen musicians.

The curriculum includes:
• Instruction from world-class professional musicians
• Jazz ensemble training (Combos & Big Band)
• Personalized instruction
• Music theory and improvisation training
• Listening sessions
• Visiting clinicians and masterclasses
• Performance opportunities

MONDAY – FRIDAY • 9:30AM – 3:30PM

Tuition: $400

Location: Basie Center’s Monmouth Conservatory of Music | 65 Chestnut Street, Red Bank, NJ

The session will culminate with student showcase performances at a local venue alongside accomplished, professional jazz artists.
Beginners will receive the guidance and instruction necessary for a positive introduction to jazz, while advanced students will have opportunities to play with professional musicians and other advanced students

Student placement will be determined by performance evaluation. Students must have three years of instrumental experience, know at least three major scales, be able to read printed music and understand basic rhythms.
