Count Basie Center Announces 2018-19 ‘Broadway At The Basie’ Series

(RED BANK | JUNE 11) The Count Basie Center for the Arts has announced the slate for its 2018-19 Broadway At The Basie series presented by World Subaru.

National touring productions of The Wizard Of Oz (Oct. 21 – Nov. 1), Elf: The Musical (Nov. 12), Monty Python’s Spamalot (Two shows on Dec. 1), Legally Blonde: The Musical (Feb. 21 / 22, 2019) and The Sound Of Music (March 1,2,3, 2019) will visit the Basie Center as part of the series, as will Tony© winner Kristin Chenoweth (Wicked, You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown, On The Twentieth Century) on Friday, November 30.

And if that wasn’t enough – Hamilton’s big Tony© winner, Leslie Odom, Jr. – heads the Count Basie Center Summer Gala on Saturday, June 30.
